DIY wedding projects... I pretty much guarantee that 95% of brides consider doing some kind of DIY project for their wedding. How many are executed? Probably a fraction of that amount. As the big day creeps up its so easy to let projects slip by the wayside; you run out of time, money, or some of the seemingly easy DIY is not quite as easy as it looked. I have run into all of these issues myself, but it is typically the latter that ends up derailing my DIY plans... which is why I am so thrilled to share with you some actual {simple} DIY projects that I used in the L is for LOVE Valentine's Day Inspiration Shoot with Suzanna March Photography and bonus - Suz took the photos so they are oh-so-pretty to look at too!
First up, the easy as can be Heart Tea Bag Tags!
What you need:
Tea Bags
Pretty Colored Paper
A Stapler ( and/or tape)
A Heart Craft Punch (I picked up this one at JoAnn for less than $5!)
1) Punch along the bottom of the paper as many hearts as you'd like to make into teabags
2) Pull the brand name tea bag tags off the end of the string (at this point we abandoned the mini stapler for tape, as we didn't want to have the staple showing on the tag)
3) Tape the heart to the end of the string where the tea bag tag was.
4) Voila - you are done! Yes, it is really that easy!
A simple way to add a sweet detail to your wedding! How wonderful would this be at a bridal or baby shower, or even a mother's day brunch? And easily customizable by simply choosing a different punch based on your occasion by or printing on it with a rubber stamp; this is one DIY that is totally doable!
