Wedding Cake Alternative: The Crepe Wedding Cake from Charleston Crepe Company

For those of you looking for a little something different than your average wedding cake I have just the thing for you:  a Crepe Cake from the Charleston Crepe Company.  I was introduced to this fantastic company by the lovely Lucinda of Chocolate Creative Design over a year ago and have since watched this cake concept quickly catch on as a favorite among brides who are looking for something other than the usual frosted variety.

And who wouldn't want to cut into one of these beauties?

From the Charleston Crepe Company website " Each delicate crêpe cake features 25 made-by-hand crêpes hand-layered with a light vanilla or chocolate creme and the cakes are fashioned of 2 or 3 tiers of 50 and 75 crêpes respectively."  I have one word for you: YUM!

and it only gets better,  these crepe cakes come in vanilla...

and chocolate as well!

If not for a wedding, how great would this be at a bridal (or baby) shower?!  Delicious!  Oh, and in case you were wondering - yes!  They deliver everywhere in the U.S. !

  19. This is an amazing (and BEAUTIFUL) alternative to cake-hating brides! ALL the time I hear "I hate fondant", "I don't want a regular cake", "Everybody's cakes look the same", etc, etc. I think this might solve all those problems...
