In addition to being an immensely talented photographer, she is one of the most lovely people you will ever meet, a sparkling soul - beautiful inside and out - further evidenced as she is offering this amazing opportunity to one lucky Sparkle & Hay reader!
A LOVE shoot with the someone or someones you love, from your family to just your spouse or partner, your furry friends, your children or...child to be! The winning entry will receive a one-two hour lifestyle photography session with Anna Sawin of Anna Sawin Photography and one 8 x 12 archival print of your session created of your favorite image. Your creative ideas and input are welcome and encouraged.

Details/Stipulations (there had to be a few because this lady is all booked up for 2011!) The shoot will take place in the greater Mystic-Stonington-Watch Hill area at a mutually agreed-upon date in 2011, and will likely be scheduled for a weekday afternoon or evening. Please allow a minimum of six weeks to schedule your session. *This session may be used by the winner or transferred as a gift, a gift certificate can be presented upon request.

ReplyDeleteWow, what an amazing giveaway! I love, love, love my wonderful fiance, and would love the chance to do a love shoot together. Moreover, I *love* the CT shoreline...the place I grew up and still wish to move back to! I'd love to do a shoot with my fiance revisiting some of my all time favorite shore spots...the sand bar at low tide near my grandma's house, Hamburg Cove on the CT river, lighthouses, etc etc etc. I'm getting teary just thinking about it :-) Thanks for the awesome chance!

ReplyDeleteI would love to have the opportunity to capture my family whom I adore and love. That would be my husband, my new son, and of course mr.unconditional love himself, my dog. Since we are a new family, it would be awesome to have photos of the beginning of "us".
ReplyDeleteI just recently married the most amazing man to walk this earth. Since day one we shared something incredible that only most people dream of. Not only did I marry the most amazing man, but I also gained a bonus-son. The most beautiful quick witted 3 year old you will ever meet. He's like a little old man :) I would love to be able to have our first family photos taken and the day be about all of us and not just about the adults.

I know this wouldn't make it up completely but it would be a huge help, and make her incredibly happy. I would be overjoyed to be able to be able gift it to her. ;)

I am going through the wedding planning process and I know how much time goes into choosing everything. I would be so disappointed if my wedding pictures did not turn out as expected, and so I want to be sure that my friend gets the chance to have the pictures she always wanted for her wedding!! This sounds like such a beautiful opportunity! A just-married friend of mine got her wedding photos back, but the dark shadow in most of the pictures made her a little gloomy! It would be great if Anna could bring a little light into these newlyweds' new life together!

I know Anna - and you are right on, she's a true gem! For years I have wanted to her to take photos of the ones I love - a family portrait with my husband and four kids under 8 - but something's always come up and it was never the "perfect time." I've realized that it doesn't need to be a "perfect time" after all because Anna's magic is in capturing the moments that happen between people, which is what I've always wanted in a family portrait anyway. She's so talented!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I married a crazy guy...someone that takes me out of my comfort zone on a daily basis but in a remarkable way. Someone that is tender and loving and completely unique...and someone that really doesn't like to have his photo taken. Anna was able to coax him out of his shell 8 years ago when she took a whole album of photos as our wedding present and we treasure them. Since then, I have watched my dear friend and former roomie hone her craft and I am simply amazed at each and every shoot that I see. Would love to try to get her to capture a few pictures of this character of a man that I've fallen for!
