J'adore J. Crew! J.Crew Weddings

J.Crew just can't seem to get it wrong!  And I'm not just saying that because my bridesmaids dresses which I adore are from there (remember this?).  But seriously, with the new J.Crew Bridal Boutique opening in NYC I think this is just the tip of the iceberg on what we will see coming from their bridal design house.  Not only are they making wedding styling easy (all the girls had to do was order online or call the catalog number - just like ordering a sweater!) but they are also paying close attention to the details that make the experience personal, like this:

I don't know about you but I would positively love having this pretty little ribbon sewed into my dress (which isn't from J.Crew I will admit, I "said yes to the dress", but will unfortunately not be posting about my white dress until after the big day as Dan reads this blog).

But for ladies who have purchased their gowns from here they can now also purchase not just their jewelry accessories but also headpieces here!  Like this pretty bouquet length veil:

Whether or not you get your accessories here (and I do love the J.Crew accessories as seen here) you now also have the option of buying your dress's accessories - how smart is this dress first aid kit by The Laundress New York exclusively for J.Crew?!

Check out all of these goodies and watch the fun video now on J.Crew Weddings

And just because I couldn't help myself here (again) is the dress I selected for my beautiful 7 bridesmaids to wear on October 23rd...

p.s. they also sell Spanx now - but since we all know (and love) what those little miracle workers do I decided not to post that picture!

p.p.s. Am equally excited that Anthropologie is coming out with a wedding line next year - cannot wait to hear more on that too!!!

  1. awesome!! LOOOVE anthropologie too!

and actually, check this out - it's the same thing, but homemade. i actually ordered personalized handkerchiefs from this woman and they're really special. can't post it on the blog though because they're gifts for my mom, dad and brother for the wedding day, with a special quote or saying on each one, in a light blue fabric embroidered on.

  3. love love love!! those bridesmaid dresses are so cute- I would have gone the J Crew route, but they don't carry sizes larger than a 16. (my one big complaint about their Bridesmaid Dresses)

When I heard about an Anthropologie wedding line a while back it was almost worth postponing the wedding a year... haha almost!

  5. thanks for all of the lovely the comments ladies!

@sara - i agree - that is the biggest downfall, but i bet (certainly hope!) that as the wedding line continues to gain momentum that they'll increase the size range!
