Paper Love: Marissa's Invitations

So let me preface this post with a warning that my horrible, amateur photos taken with a 3 year old digital camera which is fine for capturing impromptu group shots at picnics, restaurants, or other informal functions did NOT do these invitations justice.  The soft creamy colors and contrasting fonts are in no way well served here;  nor is the fabulous linen texture (note to Lucinda, I love the texture!).
     Ok, disclaimer over, on to the good stuff.  Yesterday I happily received in the mail the invitation to one of my (oldest and best) friends wedding.  Marissa (who is also a b'maid in my wedding, as am I in hers) is getting married this upcoming labor day weekend in Stony Creek - a charming little seaside corner of Branford, CT with a reception to follow at Amarantes Sea Cliff in New Haven.   Her invitations are such a beautiful palette and a simple sweet sophistication with a slightly modern twist. LOVE them!  I simply cannot wait for this day.
